Ruby Tombe is a qualified accountant with extensive international experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management across Colombia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. She graduated in Accounting from Universidad Libre in Colombia in 2003 and qualified as a Public Accountant. Her strong academic performance earned her a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Tax Advisory at Fundesem Business School in Alicante, Spain.

Ruby began her professional career as an intern in the accounting department of Mora y Mora Asesores S.L., where she gained early practical experience in accounting processes and tax compliance. She later moved to Granada, where she combined academic development with professional progression, starting a PhD in Business and Financial Management while validating her Colombian qualifications in Spain.

She subsequently joined the consultancy of Antonio Ruíz Medina, where she worked for seven years as an accountant and later as a tax advisor, advising clients on accounting, corporate tax, and financial planning matters.

Seeking to broaden her international expertise, Ruby relocated to London to specialise in UK accounting and tax systems. At Scornik Gerstein LLP, she supports the Accounting & Tax Department, assisting with financial administration, accounting processes, and client compliance matters.

Ruby is recognised for her analytical mindset, international perspective, and strong technical background in accounting and taxation across multiple jurisdictions.
